The residential neighbourhood of Bridlewood is located in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, next to the communities of Evergreen and Somerset. It sits at an elevation of 1,100 meters, home to a population of more than 12,000 people.

Established in 1998, Bridlewood is a young community that began to take shape right around the new millennium. A long, narrow body of water sits on the east end of town, adjacent to Bridlewood Wetlands Park. Nearly all structures in Bridlewood are single-family detached homes, occupied by a sizable percentage of immigrants. The Spruce Meadows equestrian facility and dog park are just south of Bridlewood.
